Story
Get to Know Us
Founded in 2018, AquaFiber is a pioneering research group dedicated to tackling the global challenge of bio-invaded seaweed. Our mission is to transform this environmental issue into sustainable opportunities by converting invasive seaweed into bioplastic 3D printing feedstocks, eco-friendly films, and natural sunscreen.
In 2020, our vision gained momentum with the support of Seawinner Company, enabling us to scale our research and innovation. Today, we continue to push the boundaries of sustainable materials, proving that nature’s challenges can inspire groundbreaking solutions for a greener future.
Product
Sustainable, high-performance materials that redefine eco-friendly innovation.

3D Printing Feed Stock
Our bioplastic 3D printing filaments offer an eco-conscious alternative to traditional plastic materials. Made from processed seaweed, these filaments provide flexibility, and biodegradability, making them ideal for prototyping and manufacturing with a reduced environmental footprint.

Films
Our biodegradable seaweed-based films serve as a sustainable alternative to conventional plastic wraps and packaging. Designed for food-safe and body-safe, these films break down naturally, reducing waste and contributing to a circular economy.

SunSc
Harnessing the natural UV-blocking properties of seaweed, our chemical-free sunscreen offers superior skin protection without harming marine life. Rich in antioxidants and nourishing ingredients, it provides a safe and effective shield against the sun while supporting ocean conservation.
